A strategic innovation leader, collaborative community builder, and entrepreneurship maven. Her career since the late ’90s spans academic research, market research consulting, and innovation ecosystem building.
Usha was responsible for building MaRS entrepreneurship programming in her former vice president, Venture and Talent. She has recently taken on the challenge of building and scaling the BVZ Venture launched in 2020 and looks forward to coaching entrepreneurs and scaling businesses to solve local challenges.
She holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Microbiology and a business degree from Standford GSB in Corporation Innovation.
